Classic Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the main protagonists in the Sonic series.

Sonic[]
Classic Sonic the Hedgehog first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog, where he went across the land to fight against Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his Badniks, while also looking for the six Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic returns in Sonic 2, this time teaming up with Classic Miles "Tails" Prower to fight against Dr. Robotnik and his Badniks while looking for the seventh Chaos Emerald.
In Sonic 3, Sonic was seen jumping off of the Tornado and turned into Super Sonic, only to later be stopped by Classic Knuckles the Echidna. This lead to both Sonic and tails to explore the island, fight against the Badniks and collect all seven Chaos Emeralds. Sonic also went to fight against Dr. Ivo Robotnik again.
In Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic went to fight more Badniks on Angle Island and teamed up with Knuckles to fight against Dr. Robotnik.
In Sonic CD, Sonic went to an area known as LittlePlanet and went to stop Dr. Ivo Robotnik from robotasizing it. He also went to save Classic Amy Rose from Classic Metal Sonic.
In Sonic Chaos, both Sonic and Tails went on another adventure to fight against Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his Badniks.
In Sonic Spinball, Sonic went on an adventure to fight against various Badniks to collect the Chaos Emeralds once again.
Sonic appears in Wacky Worlds Creativity Studio and Tails and the Music Maker, possably for some sight seeing.
In Sonic Triple Trouble, Sonic and Tails went to fight against Dr. Robotnik as well as Knuckles again, Fang the Sniper and Metal Sonic.
In both Sonic Drift and Sonic Drift 2, Sonic went to race in a cart, along with his friends and rivals.
Sonic has made cameo appearances in both Knuckles' Chaotix and Tails Adventure, possably appearing to check up on his friends and as a staute for a reward.
In Sonic Labyrinth, Sonic went across a vast maze to fight against various Badniks.
In Sonic the Fighters, Sonic went into a fighting contest to battle against his friends and rivals to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds and fight against Dr. Robotnik.
In Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic went to help a group of birds as well as fight against Dr. Robotnik and his Badniks to regain the Chaos Emeralds once again.
In Sonic Blast, Sonic went to fight against Dr. Robotnik and his Badniks once again for the seven Chaos Emeralds.
In Sonic R, Sonic went to race against his friends, Dr. Robotnik and some of his Badniks to collected the Chaos Emerald as well as other items.
The Classic Sonic the Hedgehog made his first appearance in Sonic Generations, where he was seen running in Green Hill Zone, racing across the Badniks, only to be sent to another world thanks to the Time Eater. This lead both Classic Sonic and Classic Tails to team up with their "Moden" counterparts. Classic Sonic went to help free the friends of his older self and help battle both Dr. Ivo Robotnik and Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik twice. Afterwards he went back into his own timeline with Classic Tails.
In Sonic Dash, Classic Sonic appears to go for a race around the lands.
In Sonic Mania, after a year or two of his time travel, Sonic went on a new adventure with both Tails and Knuckles to fight against Dr. Robotnik, some of his old Badniks and the Hardboiled Heavies. Sonic later disappeared with the Phantom Ruby after the defeat of the Heavy King.
In Sonic Forces, Classic Sonic returned to the "moden" world to help Tails, who seemed to be suffering from a mental breakdown, again Chaos. Classic Sonic would also help his older self once again as well as a character known as Avatar defeat Dr. Eggman, Infiniate, some of Eggman's Badniks and the Replicas. Afterwards, Classic Sonic went back to his own timeline once again.
In Sonic Force: Speed Battle, Classic Sonic went to race across the lands once again with other characters.
In Sonic Mania Plus, Sonic found his way back to help both Tails and Knuckles fight against Dr. Robotnik, his Badniks and the Hardboiled Heavies once again. This time he was given the help of Mighty the Armidillo and Ray the Flying Squrrel.
Clasic Sonic also makes a cameo in Team Sonic Racing, possably as a sticker.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games[]
Classic Sonic the Hedgehog attended the Olympic games in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (2020).

- Despite being classed as a different character, it is still possible that this version of Sonic may grow up into 'Modern' Sonic the Hedgehog.
- This is the only version of Sonic to be mute.
