Chompies are recurring antagonists in the Skylanders series.
History[]
Skylanders[]
The Chompies first appeared in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, where they would often try to fight the Skylanders in a few forms and in various worlds.
The Chompies returned in Skylanders: Gaints, to fight against the Skylanders once more. A notable Chompy known as the Chompy Mage went to fight the Skylanders in the Willikin village but was desfeated and later showed up at the end having a discussion with Flynn. Chompies have also appeared to dance and high five eachother on top of the Iron Fist of Arcus.
In Skylanders: SWAP-Force, the Chopmies returned to fight against the Skylanders, although looking a bit diffrent.
In Skylanders: Trap Team, the Chompies went to fight against the Skylanders again, with three trappable Chompies being sighted, these three are: Bone Chompy, the Chompy Mage and, although olny appearing in the Mirror of Mystery, the Chompy. After being defeated, these three would than help the Trap Masters and would be treated as Skylanders for a short while.
In Skylanders: SuperChargers, the Chompies would once again fight against the Skylanders, surprisingly being unharmed after Kaos took over Skylands.
The Chompies also appeared in Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing, although they are mainly spectating the races.
In Skylanders: Imaginators, the Chompies would again fight against the Skylanders, as well as jump into the Wumpa Islands to do some dancing.

Trivia[]
- The Chompies are the only enemies that appear in all of the main series Skylanders games, even the 3DS versions. This makes the Chompies and Kaos the only antagonists that appear in every main series games (not counting the 3DS games).
- It stated in a minigsme in Giants that the Chompies are a part of the Earth Element, but Trap Team and onwards state them as a part of the Life Element. This could most likely be due to the fact that the Element is based on the the type of Chompy itself.
- The Chompies in SWAP-Force look vastly diffrent to the ones in other games, this could be due to the fact that they are a subspecies.
