Captain Spears is a playable character in the Twisted Metal series.
Captain Spears was once a soldier in the army, where during a war, he lost his men in an ambush. Since he blamed himself for it, he was looking for a way to correct his mistake.
Twisted Metal[]
Captain Spears only appeared in the 1995 version of Twisted Metal, where he used a junk car he made known as Roadkill to enter the contest. He went to fight against the likes of Agent Stone, Angela Fortin, Bruce Cochrane, Charlie Kane, Commander Mason, Dave & Mike, Mr. Ash, Mr. Grimm, Scott Campbell, Sergeant Carl Roberts and Sweet Tooth. Afterwards, Captain Spears went to fight against Minion and after defeating Minion, Captain Spears went to speak to Calypso to demand his prize. He asked Calypso to rewind time for him so that he can save his men, but ended up dying in the process. His car, Roadkill may have been later stolen and modified by a pair of reckless teens too.

Captain Spears shares the vehicles known as Roadkill with Marcus Kane, John Doe, John Doe's double, Sweet Tooth, his army of Clowns, the 2012 version of Mr. Grimm, his army of Skulls, the 2012 version of Dollface, her army of Dolls, a Preacher and his army of Holy Men.
Captain Spears has a similar story to the Twisted Metal: Black version of Agent Stone and the 2012 version of Mr. Grimm.
