Captain Hector Barbossa is a recuuring character in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

History

Pirates of the Caribbean

Captain Hector Barbossa was once the first mate of Captain Jack Sparrow, this was until he and the rest of the crew turned on Jack and left him on an island with a single gun and a single bullet. He than was cursed by the amultes that he and his crew collected and sent Willaim Turner Sr. to the bottem of the ocean.

Captain Barbossa made his first appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, where kidnaped Elizaberth Swann, beleving her to be related to an old pirate friend of his. Afterwards, he fought against Captain Jack Sparrow once again, only to traid Eleizaberth over for Wilaim Turner Jr. and later went back to a cave. He sent his army of the undead to fight the British army and later fought against Jack, only to die thanks to Willaim.

In Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Captain Hector Barbossa was seen being brough back to life thanks to Tia Dalma.

Kingdom Hearts

Captain Hector Barbossa stole the crew and the Black Pearl from Captain Jack Sparrow and was later cursed by some amultes.

Captain Barbossa first appeared in Kingdom Hearts II, where he and his crew was hired by Pete. He than kidnapped Elizabeth Swann, believing her to be the relitive of Whillaim Turner Sr., even drinking whine for the occasion. He than fought against Captain Jack Sparrow, Sora, Donald and Goofy with the Heartless on boats. He than kidnapped Willaim Turner Jr. and gave back Elizabeth. At the caves where Barbossa had the Amulets, he shot Captain Jack Sparrow and fought against Jack, Sora, Donald and Goofy with Illuminator in combat but died with Jack shooting him and Willaim placing the last amulet with his blood in the chest.

Captain Hector Barbossa was later brought back from the dead by Tia Dalma.

In Kingdom Hearts III, Hector Barbossa was seen with Elizabeth Swan, Willaim Turner Jr., Tia Dalma and Mr. Gibbs, to bring Captain Jack Sparrow back to the realm of the living and also brought back Sora, Donald and Goffy. Making a crew for the Black Pearl and went to visit Davy Jones and Cutler Beckett so that he and Elizabeth would and Jack over to them. Hector Barbossa than went helped fight against the Kraken and fight against Davy Jones' crew. It is believed that he went back to his old crew after this.
