Captain Dreadbeard is a recurring character in the Skylanders series.

History

Skylanders

Captain Dreadbeard made his first appearance in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, where he was seen in Pirate Seas with he Seadog crew, imprioning the townsfolk and would not let them out unless beated in a card game. The Captain captured the Mayor of the town and later his daughter, only to give up after being defeated by the Skylanders, namely Terrafin.

In Skylanders: Giants, after Captain Dreadbeard opened a carnival and had Captain Flynn steal some gold coins from him, he went to send his minions to fight against the Skylanders. After the Skylanders defeated his crew agian, the Captain asked for some gold coins so that his Seadog men would help rebuild their ship. Captain Dreadbeard later stowed away on the Skylander's ship in hopes to play cardgames with them.

In Skylanders: Trap Team, Captain Dreadbeard, although looking a bit diffrent, went to Skylanders Academy to challange the Skylanders to Skystones Smash. The Captain would also challange the Skylanders in a rap-battle.

Captain Dreadbeard is also an antagonist in Skylanders: Battlecast.
