The Bounty Hunters are a recurring group of antagonists in the Samurai Jack series.
History[]
Samurai Jack[]
Bounty Hunters appeared in the episode Young Jack in Africa, where an Evil Chief of an African tribe made went to capture the African Chief and and Tribe in hopes to capture the Prince, in exchange for payment from Aku. The Princes defeated them however.
Bounty Hunters were first seen in the episode Jack vs. Mad Jack, where some of them noticed Samurai Jack, they told him that Aku has put a price on his head and so, patroites of the bar went to fight Jack, only to be defeated. A Bounty Hunter called Og later appeared to fight against Jack but was also defeated. Jack would than battle a small army of Bounty Hunters until he was irratated by them, whitch created Mad Jack for a short while.
The Bounty Hunters returned in the episode Jack and the Scotsman, where after Samurai Jack and The Scotsman were seen fighting each other, the Bounty Hunters appeared and handcuffed both Jack and the Scotsman together. The Bounty Hunters would later look for and than chase down both Jack and the Scotsman, only to leader be defeated by the two.
The Bounty Hunters made a reappearance in the episode Jack and the Scotsman II, where another group of bar patrions looked at Samurai Jack and decided to fight him for his bounty, only for the Scotsman to appear and destroyed the bar.
The Bounter Hunters also appeared in the episode Couple on a Train, where a pair of devorced Bounty Hunters known as Ezekiel Clench and Josephine Clench happened to both be looking for Samurai Jack and decided to board the same train as him. Josephine was trying to gain Jack's trust before taking him down, while Ezekiel tried to just gun him down. Jack later defeated the two Bounty Hunters, with the two bickering afterwards.
In the episode Jack and the Creature, where a gang of robots went to track down and capture Samurai Jack, only for a Creature to destroy them in a rage, both Samurai Jack and the creature later left after the robots were destroyed.
In the episode The Princess and the Bounty Hunters, a group of Bounty Hunters went to a tundra forest, telling each other how they would defeat Samurai Jack, only for Princess Mira to criticise all five of them and would later ask them to help her with her plan. In the end, Samurai Jack defeated them and they all presumably went their seperate ways.
In the episode The Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 1, The Scotsman found a brainwashed Samurai Jack tried to convince him that his really is the Samurai, only for the Bounty Hunters of the boat to notice, leading to the Scotsman to fight against these Bounty Hunters and brought Jack back on land.
In the episode The Scotsman Saves Jack, Part 2, The Scotsman seemed to have appeared in a bar asking if anyone has seen Samurai Jack before, only to notice that most of the bar's patrions where Bounty Hunters and so went to fight against them and later blew up the bar.
In the episode Jack vs. Aku, Aku hired some Bounty Hunters to fight against Samurai Jack, only to see them all be easily defeated, this lead him to ask Samurai Jack for a dual.
In the episode Tale of X-49, Aku threated a retired robot mercenery known as X-49 to fight against Samurai Jack and if he did, he would get his dog, Lulu, back. X-49 was defeated by Jack however, leading to X-49 to give Jack his last words.
In the episode Jack and the Baby, Samurai Jack was looking after a small baby, only to fight and defeat a robot Bounty Hunter and later continued to journey with the baby for a bit.
In Episode XCII, a robotic Bounty Hunter known as Scaramouche the Merciless went to fight against Samurai Jack, only to be defeated by him.
In Episode XCVII, Scaramouche was seen suviving his encounter with Jack, but was badly damaged and so went to a docks to head over to Aku's lair, he also read a few signs and tried to find a way on board the ship, despite it's regulations. He was later sent overboard by some dog-like aliens. Ashi also went to a bar operated by Da Samurai, where she encountered some Bounty Hunters and asked if they seen Samurai Jack, only for them to tell her about their encounters with him, only to leave after Demongo the Soul Collector appeared.
In Episode XCVIII, The High Priestess hired an Orc Army to kill Samurai Jack, only for Ashi to eliminate them all and later had a fight against her own mother.
In Episode C, Scaramouche told Aku that Jack lost his sword, leading to him being repaired, both him and Aku later went to Samurai Jack and Ashi, only to notice that Jack gained his sword back and so Aku completely destroyed Scaramouche.
While some fans might not consider it canon, in the video game Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Aku sent Samurai Jack into a pocket dimension to relive some of his past battles, some of these battles are of couse, against Bounty Hunters he once fought against. The Bounty Hunters he fought against are Aligator Robot, Huntor, Ezekiel Clench, Josephine Clench and Scaramouche.

- Huntor originated from the cartoon series Dexter's Laboratory.
- A Bounty Hunter in a bar, seems to be based off of Maui from the Disney Movie Moana.
- A Robotic Bounty Hunter in a bar looks alot like the infamous character Pop Eye
