Boba Fett was an unaltered clone of Jango Fett who appeared in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, where he went with his father to Comeno. After Jango died in battle, Boba was mourning him.
Boba then trained to become a bounty hunter like Jango, even using his armor after he grew up.
Boba appears in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, where he and other bounty Hunters were hired by Darth Vader to locate the Melienium Falcan to lure out Luke Skywalker. He later left with a frozen Han Solo to give to Jabba the Hut.
Boba would later appear in Star Wars: Episode VI The Return of the Jedi, were he was hanging out at Jabba's palace, until Jabba decided to bring Luke to the Sarlak Pit. Boba went to fight against Luke, Han and Chewbakka, only to fall down the pit himself.
In both the Legends and Disney timelines, Boba Fett escaped the Sarlak Pit and became the ruler of the Mandalorians. Also becoming a hero to the galaxy and teaming up with his former enemies.
