Black is a playable character that appeared in the Twisted Metal series.
History[]
Twisted Metal[]
Black was first seen in the 1995 version of Twisted Metal, where he was a right hand to Calypso to help grant wishes to the winners of the tournament. Black may have been seen when Angela Fortin won the contest. And when Mr. Ash won the contest, he decided to bring Black back to hell with him.
NOTE: Both Twisted Metal: Black and Twisted Metal: Lost are said to take black in the head of Sweet Tooth, so both games are considered by some as non-canon.
Black returned in Twisted Metal: Black, where he entered the contest in his modified construction vehicle known as Manslaughter to fight against Charlie Kane, Sweet Tooth, Axel, Agent Stone, Billy Ray Stillwell, Bloody Mary, Cage, Dollface, John Doe, Mr. Grimm, No-Face, Preacher and Raven. Black then went to fight against Minion, or rather Marcus Kane and then fought against Warhawk. After winning the contest, Black when to look for and try to murder Calypso, only for a bomb to be placed with the message saying "Screw you! Love Calypso.", leading to an explosion. Black survived the explosion and decided to continue his hunt for Calypso.
Black also appeared in Twisted Metal: Lost, where he once again went to fight against Charlie Kane, Sweet Tooth, Axel, Agent Stone, Billy Ray Stillwell, Bloody Marry, Cage, Dollface, Mr. Grimm, No-Face, Preacher and Raven once again. Alone with new contestants being Golden Tooth, John Doe and Severed Sam. Black may have continued his hunt for Calypso, but a rumor went around that Black is from a different universe and was hired by a more colorful Calypso.

- Black was originally believed to be the main source of power for Calypso.
- Since Twisted Metal: Black takes place in the head of Sweet Tooth, Black is theorized to be either a personification of cancer or a lobotomy. Or possibly how Sweet Tooth views that most people can still act like wild animals, if needed.
- There are many that believe that Black from TM:B is the same character from the first game.
- Black shares the same bio with Cage.
- Many view Black as a hero as his hunt for Calypso may also mean an end to the Twisted Metal contests if he succeeds in his hunt.
