Beowulf is a playable character in the Skullgirls series.

Beowulf was originally a wrestler that fought against many opponents, one of witch was the drugged Grendel and later his mother. He later went to work with advertisers and stared on a show made by Annie, he later went into retirement.
He was mentioned by Peacock and her gang.
He later went out of retirement after seeing Grendel's left arm being reawaken and gave it to Double for a few moments. He later fought against Cerabella for show and later went to fight against Painwheel and Valentine thinking that it was for show. He later went to speak to Annie for a bit, only to leave in disbelief. Beowulf later went to fight against Big Band, only to trapped by Double a bit later. The two fought and Beowulf went to fight against Marie, only to be tied down by both Marie and Double, only for Annie to help him, leading to him to destroy the Skull Heart. Beowulf later berried Grendel's left arm and went to work for Annie once again.
