The Beetle Drones are recurring antagonists in the Samurai Jack series.
History[]
Samurai Jack[]
The Beetle Drones were created by Aku's three mad scientists, after their last attempts of making an army for Aku.
The Beetle Drones made their first appearance in the episode The Samurai Called Jack, where Aku summoned them to rage war on Samurai Jack.
In the episode The First Fight, The Beetle Drones went to fight against Samurai Jack, only to all fall under his blade.
In the episode Jack Learns to Jump Good, the Beetle Drones went to fight Jack and after their defeat, Aku appeared to insult Jack and left with the time portal. They later appeared after Jack went for the same Time Portal.
In the episode Jack and the Monks, Jack was fighting the Beetle Drones once more, only for one of them to destroy the Time Portal and made Jack go in a rage and destroyed them all.
In the episode Chicken Jack, a similar, but not the same robot known as the Beetle Bot went to fight Samurai Jack in a chicken form, only to die in animal combat.
In the episode The Aku Infection, Beetle Drones went to to fight Samurai Jack, nly to be destroyed once again.
In the episode Jack and the Flying Prince and Princess, Aku sent the Beetle Drones to attack the alien Prince and Princess, only to be fought and destroyed by Samurai Jack.
The Beetle Drones were mentioned by X49, where they replaced his robots like him for Aku's army in the episode Tale of X49.
In the video game known as Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku, the Beetle Drones appear throughout the four hubworlds to fight against Samurai Jack.
A vision of the Beetle Drones were seen in the thrid issue of The Threads of Time, where Gloer the Great showed Samurai Jack what happened to his village.
Beetle Drones may have appeared in the comic Mako the Scribe, where various heroes were telling Mako who Samurai Jack helped him in their indevers.
The Beetle Drones were given an upgrade over the fifty years and possably repurpased to not just fight against Samurai Jack, but also his allies.
In Episode XCII, some new Beetle Drones were seen ganging up on a family of three aliens, only for Jack to fight against him. They were now putting up a fight, only to fall to Jack's hand once again.
In Episode XCIII, a large Beetle Drone was sent to fight against Samurai Jack, only to be easily defeated.
In Episode XCVII, some Beetle Drones were seen fleeing from The Three Blind Archers, with one of them being on fire. This was the last time the Beetle Drones were seen.
While some fans may not consider it canon, the Beetle Drones also appear in the video game Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, to fight against Samurai Jack on last time.
It is believed that the Beetle Drones were erased from existance after Aku's death in the past.
Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion[]
Beetle Drones appear as enemies in the video game Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion, often going up against the playable fighters.
